CONTENTS:

Marseille Soap – Carbonate – Water

DESCRIPTION:

Are your teeth covered with a yellowish layer? And do you want to regain white teeth?

Although most of us may not have whiter teeth, white teeth such as enamel, it is a fact that the coffee or tea you consume or the tobacco you drink stains your teeth. No need to try “whiteness” toothpastes!
Try Marseille soap instead. Although it is not particularly pleasant to the mouth, it is extremely effective.

Add some baking soda, known for its whitening properties, and you’ll get a pretty surprising result.

Wet your toothbrush and rub Marseille soap on it. Add a pinch of baking soda to the brush and brush your teeth in small circular motions from top to bottom. Spit it out and rinse your mouth thoroughly several times.

ADVICE:

Although Marseille soap is not dangerous to your health, it should still not be swallowed! Now we know what to do for whiter teeth.

Whether teeth appear white or not is largely related to tooth enamel. Let’s give some information about this if you wish:

Tooth enamel (Latin: Substantia adamantinea, English: Enamel) is the hardest and densest mineralized substance in the body, and is one of the four main tissues that make up the tooth, along with dentin, cementum, and pulp. It is normally the visible dental part of the tooth and must be supported with dentine from below.

Ninety-six percent of the enamel consists of minerals and the remainder consists of water and organic matter. The normal color of enamel varies from light yellow to grayish white. The color can sometimes turn into a slight blue tone at the ends of the tooth, where there is no dentin under the enamel. Because enamel is translucent, the color of dentin and any filling material under the enamel strongly affect the physical appearance of a tooth. Enamel is found in different thicknesses on the surface of the tooth and the thickest is 2.5 mm in the top protrusions called tubercle; the thinnest is clinically on the enamel-cementum border.

The basic mineral of enamel is hydroxyapatite, a crystallized calcium phosphate. Most of the minerals in enamel are evaluated not only for their strength but also for their fragility. Tooth enamel is the hardest substance in the human body as it is evaluated with 5 in terms of Mohs hardness scale. Dentine is less mineralized and less fragile, with 3-4 hardness degrees, supports the enamel and is necessary for strength. Unlike dentin and bone, enamel does not contain collagen. Instead, it contains two unique proteins named amelogenin and enomelin. Although the functions of these proteins are not fully understood, they are thought to aid in the development of enamel by functioning as a skeletal support, among other functions.
